Misak Cholokian was born in Krasnodar, Russia. Graduated from Repin Art College of Krasnodar. The artist, starting from visual impressions, departs too far from the imitation of reality. His paintings emerge from the analysis of the structure of visible objects and phenomena. It is always a breakthrough into another dimension, hence the epic voice of the artist's works.
